How Orthomol engaged 2,400+ visitors paper-free at Drugstore Show 2025 with GEM
At the Drugstore Show 2025, premium vitamin brand Orthomol used GEM to run its exhibition booth paper-free — putting campaign info and surveys on visitors' own phones, updating content in real time, and capturing visitor data instantly.
The challenge
Exhibitors lean on printed handouts and paper surveys that are wasteful, slow to change, and hard to analyse. At a busy booth it is difficult to update campaign messaging on the fly or to capture and understand visitor data in real time.
The goals
Orthomol set out to cut printed materials in support of its SDG commitments, digitise visitor surveys, enable real-time campaign updates, and improve how it collects and analyses customer data.
The solution
With GEM (Guest Experience Manager), visitors opened Orthomol’s booth experience on their own phone via QR — no app, no printed materials. Staff updated campaign content in real time through a simple CMS, ran digital surveys, and captured visitor-interest data instantly, in multiple languages.
Key features
QR access on the visitor’s own phone; digital surveys; real-time campaign and content updates via CMS; a multilingual interface; instant visitor-data capture and analysis; and paper-free delivery in support of SDG goals.
The results
At the Orthomol booth during Drugstore Show 2025, over 2,400 visitors used GEM across three days — engaging a large audience while going paper-free for sustainability. The rollout ran with zero customer complaints, and visitors rated its convenience and experience value highly.
